Are you looking to find out the cost to install a new TV aerial? Well, let’s get straight to the point.
A new TV aerial can cost anything from £85-£200, but this can depend on many different factors.
When broken down, these are the main points to a typical basic TV aerial install:
- The actual antenna – aerial itself
- The pole or mast
- The chimney mount or wall bracket
- The cabling
Added to this there are other costs to consider: an amplifier may be required to optimise signal, or extra bracketry and a taller pole or mast for low signal areas. You may also want extra TV points in other rooms.
ADVICE FROM OUR AERIAL FITTER
“There is a temptation to ONLY replace the aerial itself and keep the existing cabling. Whilst this reduces the price and your signal improves slightly, the cable may be very old and been subjected to UV rays and wind and rain for many years. It may not be ideal for modern digital signals. It is often easy to install new cable and fairly cheap also”
